Rebuild Native

Design studio · game art & 3D

We build worlds, and everything that lives in them.

Rebuild Native is a design studio for game art and 3D objects. Creatures, buildings, vehicles, whole maps and the interfaces around them — drawn, modelled, textured and brought to life in the engine.

What we make

  1. Emberfox waving from a ledge over a turquoise bay, with waterfalls, coral and a stone bridge behind — a Brismania welcome scene

    Characters & creatures

Companions with a personality: seventy-five Brissies so far, each with its own element and moves, modelled in 3D and waving hello from painted scenes.

  2. Cozy City RTS design sheet: the Sunhearth Union's Solar Harmonic Generator, Fabrication Workshop and Defense Turret; the Mossglade Kin's Lifebloom Generator, Grovement Factory and Canopy Turret; the Moonveil Collective's Orbital Resonance Generator, Convergence Foundry and Gravitic Turret, each hand-labelled

    Buildings & props

Every building is worked out on paper first. Each faction gets a generator, a workshop and a turret, and each one gets a name, a job and a line of character before the first polygon.

  3. The Emberguard, a Sunhearth heavy tank in ivory and copper with twin cannons and sun-crested hover pods

    Vehicles & units

Tanks, walkers, artillery and aircraft for three factions, each with its own shape language, designed front and back before they are modelled.

  4. Brismania on an iPhone: Amsterdam's canals, gabled houses and trees built as a 3D world from the real street map

    Worlds & maps

Real streets turned into a world to walk: canals, gables and trees built from the map around you, in Brismania's Amsterdam.

  5. Brismania's explore screen: an explorer card, a Brissies-nearby list, zoom buttons and a tab bar over the canal map

    Game interfaces

Explorer cards, nearby lists, map controls and the tab bar, drawn by the same hand as the world they sit on.

Creatures for a walking adventure

Brismania is a location-based game: you walk the real streets of your city, and the Brissies walk with you. We design them — seventy-five so far, across fire, frost, storm, water, grove, stone, magic, shadow, light and dark matter — each with its own moves, and the canal-side world they live in.

Cozy City · buildings

A village in warm timber and terracotta

Markets, mills, watchtowers and homes, and the lanterns and paths between them. We drew every Cozy City building in one warm palette, so a village always looks like it grew there.

Cozy City RTS · in development

Three factions, one cosy war

Cozy City is becoming a real-time strategy game. Sunhearth, Mossglade and Moonveil each field their own tanks, walkers, artillery and aircraft — ivory and copper, moss and leaf, moonstone and violet — each designed front and back, then modelled and driven in Unreal.

From first sketch to the engine

  1. Concept

Every piece starts as a drawing: its shape, its palette and its job in the game, seen from the front and the back.

  2. Model & texture

The drawing becomes a 3D model with textures that hold up close, and lighter versions for when it is far away.

  3. Rig & animate

Skeletons, idle loops and moving parts — turrets that turn, wings that fold — so it feels alive, not just placed.

  4. In the engine

Delivered into Unity, Unreal or Blender and tested in the game it was made for, not only in a render.
